De Virtutibus Programmatis
Six distinguishing marks of a formation at once Catholic, classical, and professionally rigorous.
Rooted in Catholic liberal arts, the program forms the whole person — intellect and will.
Three progressive Field Studies (9 credits) culminate in a 6-credit Student Teaching Internship, ensuring graduates enter classrooms confident and capable.
Dedicated coursework in special education and multi-grade classrooms prepares teachers for every student they will serve.
A two-course research sequence (EDU 401–402) builds scholarly competency, culminating in an original research paper and oral defense before internship.
Courses in instructional technology, digital literacy, and new literacies equip graduates for 21st-century Catholic classrooms.
Three semesters of Latin strengthen analytical thinking and vocabulary development.
